OwnFone: World’s Simplest Phone

OwnFone is the world’s simplest phone that connects you directly to the most important people in your life. It is little personalized phone with upto 12 numbers with their names printed on it to dial and you can also receive calls – that’s it.

There are no keys or buttons on the phone. You have to let OwnFone know which numbers you want to add on your phone and they will send you a custom-printed phone. You can choose any format with 2, 4, 8 or 12 contacts. Contacts will be written in black on a white box. If you want to change someone’s number or add new contact, you need to call OwnFone support. The phone is really handy for children and elderly people.

OwnFone is about a credit card sized, 7mm thick and weighs only 40g. The battery lasts 3 days on a single charge. Currently, the phone is available only in the UK where it costs £ 55 (Rs 4850). However, the company has announced its plans to soon launch it elsewhere.
