RIM launches BlackBerry Curve 9320 in India for Rs 15,990

Canadian mobile handset manufacturer Research in Motion (RIM) launched its new 3G smartphone in India – Blackberry Curve 9320 at Rs. 15,990 today. Last month, RIM also launched BlackBerry Curve 9220 for Rs 10,990.

Most of the features of the Curve 9320 are similar to the Curve 9220 except the fact that latter is 3G-less. And the timing couldn’t be more perfect from RIM as Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Reliance Comm – all have slashed their 3G prices by up to 90 percent.

RIM launches BlackBerry Curve 9220 in India at Rs 10,990

Canadian mobile handset manufacturer Research in Motion (RIM) launched its new smartphone in India – Blackberry Curve 9220 at Rs. 10,990 (US$210) on Wednesday. The new Curve 9220 is the cheapest BlackBerry Curve smartphone to have the latest Blackberry 7.1 OS. The phone is being considered as the successor to the RIM’s best selling phone in India – Curve 8520.

The new BB Curve 9220 smartphone offers all the market-leading BB messaging & social-centric features that people love in India. Apart from it, the new BB curve also comes with an introductory offer to download free apps worth Rs 2,500 such as games, photo studio pro, pencil camera, and horoscope oracle till June 30, 2012.

RIM launched 5 new Blackberry smartphones

Research In Motion(RIM) has launched 5 new Blackberry smartphones. These are two Blackberry Bold models 9900/9930, three Blackberry Torch models 9810/9850/9860. All these smart phones are running on Blackberry 7 OS.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 with Touch Display and Keyboard comes with a 1.2 Ghz CPU, 8 GB In built memory, 720p HD video recording, support for NFC & 4G HSPA+ networks. The smartphone also sports the classic BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard & a touch LCD screen. It is the thinnest smartphone the company has ever produced.

comes with a 3.2-inch display, 5 MP camera packed with 720p HD video recording, GPS, Wi-Fi, vertical slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

All Touch BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860 comes with a 3.7in touch display with Liquid Graphics technology, 4GB In built memory which is expandable up to 36GB with micro-SD, 5MP camera packed with 720p HD video recording, GPS, Wi-Fi & a digital compass.

The new BlackBerry smartphones will be available from carriers around the world starting later this month. Availability dates for specific devices from specific carriers will be announced in conjunction with RIM’s partners.
